"  Working as an independent clinician at the Eastmans consultant led private dental clinic, these Patient Group Directives are invaluable in allowing me to work under Direct Access.

I no longer need to request a Dentist to assess my patients and write a Patient Specific Direction. At times, this used to have an impact on patients and I would run late. Often the consultants would be in the middle of a complex procedure such as an implant or a crown, and a prescription for Local Anaesthetic would be impossible.
