“These PGDs are amazing! I’m finally able to practice my full scope of practice with Direct Access. My workflow and time management have improved as I no longer have to request a dentist to come and see my patient to issue a Patient Specific Fluoride or anaesthetic request.
This service takes away the lengthy complications and bewilderment of having to navigate the confusing world of PGDs alone. I would highly recommend this service to colleagues and fellow Hygienists and Therapists.”

" Working as an independent clinician at the Eastmans consultant led private dental clinic, these Patient Group Directives are invaluable in allowing me to work under Direct Access.
I no longer need to request a Dentist to assess my patients and write a Patient Specific Direction. At times, this used to have an impact on patients and I would run late. Often the consultants would be in the middle of a complex procedure such as an implant or a crown, and a prescription for Local Anaesthetic would be impossible.
These PGDs have helped improve the service I can offer to my patients."

"I spent months attempting to put together a PGD for our practice. it was very confusing and difficult. The PGDs are extremely thorough and covers all aspects of providing these medicaments independently. When working via Direct Access PGDs are essential.
I can work much more freely but safe in the knowledge that I am working legally and within GDC and NICE guidelines. These PGDs keep my employers, my patients and myself as safe as possible.
DentalDirectives have provided a stress free solution and I highly recommend them"

“Working in the private care setting, trying to get a PGD was proving to be very difficult. I was unable to find a Pharmacist who was willing to sign the paperwork for me. It all seemed to be a simple process on paper, yet in reality, it was not the case.
For a small fee, Dental Directives made the process very simple. The fee was well worth it. They drew up a PGD for me which I, along with the Principal of the practice signed and returned a copy back to Dental Directives for their records."
